About that chat email...
That wasn't spam, I promise
So…yeah.
If you’re wondering what that chat email (New Message from Derek Pharr) was all about, don’t worry. You’re not going crazy, and I didn’t mean to surprise you.
I just turned on the chat feature for Chief Rabbit subscribers and didn’t realize everyone would get some random message right out of the gate.
Chief Rabbit is hosted on a platform called Substack, and chat is one of its optional features. As it turns out, Substack automatically sends one email when you start your first chat. After that, no more emails unless I specifically choose to send one.
Anyhoo, so what is chat?
It's a space just for Rabbit readers where we can talk about stuff that doesn't quite fit in the newsletter.
Quick questions, random thoughts, updates, etc.
How it works:
Head to substack.com/chat on the web. You’ll see Chief Rabbit there. Jump in and say hi.
You can also use the Substack app if you prefer. Just tap the chat icon (two bubbles at the bottom) and you’ll find it.
Chat happens in the app or on the web. Check in when you want.
If you run into any issues, check out Substack’s FAQ.
Looking forward to seeing you there. And sorry again for the extra email.
— Derek (aka Chief Rabbit)
