About Chief Rabbit

What is Chief Rabbit?

I help people simplify progress by shifting how they think so they can change what they do.

Life throws a lot at you. Work, decisions, responsibilities—it’s easy to feel stuck or like progress is harder than it should be. Chief Rabbit is a weekly newsletter that helps cut through the noise.

I write about small mindset shifts and simple actions that make moving forward easier. No fluff, no life hacks. Just practical ideas you can actually use.

Why is it called Chief Rabbit?

The name Chief Rabbit has personal meaning, but it also comes from one of my favorite books, Watership Down by Richard Adams.

There’s a moment in the story where Bigwig, facing impossible odds, stands his ground and says:

"My Chief Rabbit has told me to stay and defend this run, and until he says otherwise, I shall stay here."

That idea—leadership, loyalty, and standing firm in the face of challenges—stuck with me.

When I was choosing a name for this newsletter, I wanted something that:

✅ Was short, memorable, and unique
✅ Had personal significance
✅ Had an available URL
✅ Wouldn’t get me canceled

The word “chief” comes from the Old French chef, meaning leader or head. Nothing to do with hierarchy or status, just a sense of responsibility. And that’s the heart of this newsletter: helping people lead themselves (and others) with clarity, simplicity, and strength.
