A Chief Rabbit Thread | The First Line Challenge

Hi friends!

I am trying something new. I wanted to create a challenge of sorts where people can to get to know each other and share a glimpse of their work along the way. My hope is that this could be a fun way to meet some incredible new people and connect.

So I have a little game for us all called the First Line Challenge.

How it works:

  1. Introduce yourself! Say a quick hi and share the first couple lines of your current work in progress or a new post.

  2. Nominations. Nominate three others to reveal theirs. Could be someone you follow or just go wild and type in a random name.

I’ll start:

My daughter turned 18 on Sunday. I got home a bit late from the Sounders soccer game the night before (it ended in a tie, what a weird sport) and went to say goodnight. She was still awake, and after a brief chat, she burst into tears.
